The WordsThe Words are a collection of handstitched textile artworks, each one created by a woman living with or beyond breast cancer. Participants were invited to choose a word or phrase that held meaning for them, something that had carried them through diagnosis, treatment, or life beyond it. Stitched by hand onto fabric tags, these small but powerful pieces speak of resilience, humour, grief, hope, and everything in between.
