Dementia Café
A welcoming space for connection, creativity, and companionship.
about the programmeLiving with dementia can be isolating, for the person with the diagnosis and for those who love and care for them. Our Dementia Café exists to change that.
Our free monthly sessions in Quinton, Birmingham bring together people living with dementia and their carers for creative workshops, gentle movement, music, reminiscence work, and simply good company. Activities are engaging and accessible, with no pressure and no performance expectations.
A suggested donation of £4 per person per session is warmly welcomed. Is this for you?
Our Dementia Café is for people living with mild to moderate dementia or memory loss, with or without a formal diagnosis, and their family carers. Family carers attend alongside their family member.
This is a community space, not a respite or day care service, everyone comes together and takes part. You can refer yourself, or be referred by a GP, healthcare professional, or community support organisation.
