do

A Common

London Story

In North Westminster, we set out to celebrate community voices and shared histories through creativity. Our journey began with a series of workshops, where local young people explored the heritage and changing landscape of Church Street Market and the Grand Union Canal. Their perspectives came to life in two exhibitions—first in May 2024 as part of our Church Street Stories showcase, and later in August 2024 with A Common London Story at Grand Junction. These exhibitions captured the richness of the area’s past and present, seen through the eyes of the next generation.
