Calverton Calling: Glass Workshops
Be part of a special community art project celebrating life in Calverton.
In these relaxed, creative workshops you’ll design and make a small piece of decorative glass inspired by your memories, experiences, or favourite things about the village, whether that’s a place, a story, or something that makes Calverton feel like home.
Your glass panel will be fired in the artist’s studio and then combined with others to create an artwork paneldisplayed in the "Calverton Calling" phone box.
What to Expect
No experience needed and all materials provided!
Turn up and be guided by a professional glass artist as you create your own small glass panel using crushed glass and coloured glass rods.
Each participant will create a 100 × 195 mm decorative glass panel, which will later be combined with others to form larger panels.
